Safety & Compliance· Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and aviation regulations, including the Aviation Safety Program Manual (APSM), Ramp Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and corporate emergency response plans.· Ensure all activities comply with the American Disability Act (ADA), Equal Opportunity legislation, and airline-specific emergency requirements.· Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by identifying and mitigating operational risks related to load control and aircraft handling.Load Control Operations· Accurately plan and execute the distribution of aircraft load, taking into account passenger numbers, cargo weight, and fuel requirements to ensure balance within aircraft limits.· Prepare, verify, and maintain all load control documentation—including weight and balance sheets, load manifests, and fuel reports—in accordance with company and client airline standards.· Operate and monitor the Departure Control System (DCS) to track load information and ensure data accuracy throughout pre-flight preparation.· Coordinate weight and balance adjustments in real-time during irregular operations, delays, or emergencies to maintain aircraft safety.Documentation and Compliance· Ensure all load control activities comply 100% with customer airline’s weight and balance policies, Aviation Authority regulations, and applicable legislation.· Maintain comprehensive knowledge of airline manuals, including specific procedures for loading, stowage of dangerous goods, and aircraft-specific load limitations.· Assist in the creation and revision of operational procedures and documentation to support continuous improvement initiativesCoordination and Communication· Act as a liaison between airport departments (freight, engineering, ground handling, airport authorities) and client airlines to facilitate smooth passenger and cargo handling operations.· Communicate clearly and promptly with internal teams and external customers regarding load changes, delays, or safety issues to minimize operational disruptions.· Support airlines’ emergency response plans by ensuring immediate compliance and coordination during incident scenarios.Required SkillsRequirements· Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and strict adherence to all aviation procedures and company policies.· Positive, proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to analyze issues quickly and deliver effective solutions, especially when dealing with procedural noncompliance or operational challenges.· Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with staff at all levels within the Airports Division, external customers, and various internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow.· Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.· Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and capable of learning and managing airline-specific software systems.· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and responsibility in completing tasks with minimal supervision.· Be able to manage multiple airline Departure Control Systems (DCS) simultaneously.· Extensive background in all airport operations.· Current certification in manual and automated weight and balance procedures, supported by successful completion of formal company and client airline training programs.· Familiarity with airline operational manuals, including detailed knowledge of loading, weight distribution, stowage of dangerous goods, and compliance with safety regulations.· Comfortable working in varying and sometimes challenging weather conditions, including rain, extreme heat or cold, and wind, while maintaining operational efficiency.· Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of operational safety, security, emergency response, and load control as outlined in key company documents such as the Aviation Safety Program Manual (APSM), Ramp SOPs, aircraft loading manuals, load control procedures, corporate emergency response plans, and aviation security programs.· Ability to actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, sharing feedback and collaborating to enhance safety, efficiency, and
