- Understands the competitive landscape and develops strategies and initiatives to maintain a leadership position with all GSP accounts and executive leads.
- Working with the account teams, builds sales strategy and identifies new opportunities to bolster the current success.
- Passionate and enthusiastic involvement in all aspects of the Team as well as direct interaction during the sales process with prospects, customers and partners; fosters teamwork and creates a positive work environment for a geographically distributed sales force.
- Working the leadership, defines both short-term and long-term sales goals and monitors achievement while taking necessary action to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Augments sales leadership: ensures alignment on specific cybersecurity strategic objectives required for success.
- Meets with sales leaders frequently to oversee sales activities and team progress. Sales activities typically include proposal and bid strategies, pricing, capture efforts, and collaboration with internal and external support personnel.
- Collaborate with all members of the sales force and regional specialists to ensure clarity on efforts related to expanding services.
- Create communication plans with an objective of informing on capabilities, services, and processes to support goals and objectives.
- Identify performance metrics using financial and other related data to report on of status cybersecurity services.
- Participate or lead customer facing meetings, workshops, or other events related to cybersecurity lines of business.
- Possess the ability to work in a client environment and develop a multitude of relationships with excellent communication skills.
- Have expert level knowledge in one or more of the following cybersecurity areas; security architecture, cloud security, risk management, compliance, security governance, networks, protocols, threat management, change management, vulnerability management and overall cyber security best practices.
- Develop enablement material for marketing efforts that includes creation of articles, quality presentations, videos and other forms of media.
- 15-20 years of cybersecurity experience with one or more of the following: background as a practitioner and/or as a CISO, industry facing consultant, or business development lead
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Security or related field experience
- Required certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC (at least one or comparable skills and experience)
- Demonstratable experience as a project or task lead and working with professionals across organizations
- Have broad subject-matter experience and able to field discussions across the spectrum of cybersecurity whether technical or strategic
- Demonstrated success executing across multiple initiatives, exceptional time management skills and comfort navigating uncertainty
- Knowledge of the various industry and government strategies and standards in privacy and cybersecurity
- Extensive ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments under adjusting priorities
- Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences
- Extensive experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and leading business initiatives
- Must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels
