If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.About The Opportunity Under the general supervision of the Production Scheduler Supervisor, the Production Scheduler performs all functions associated with scheduling of jobs for production.Essential Job FunctionsThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Consults with Project Managers to determine scheduling dates if the information is not available in WMS
  • Navigates and analyzes data within WMS that allows for accurate scheduling
  • Serve as production scheduler, analyzing and evaluating inventory capability; update the production schedule and make recommendations on production timing
  • Organize and prioritize the production schedule as specified by the client; ensure adherence to the client-specified DC due dates for finished goods shipments
  • Notify SCPM’s of shortages, scheduling changes, and other issues
  • Analyze Microsoft Excel-based reports to determine prioritization of the production schedule
  • Use Microsoft Excel Jet to update and send daily production schedule
  • Use Microsoft Outlook to communicate to Menasha team members; reply to production floor emails during evenings and weekends
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, and staff to exchange or convey information and receive work direction; present recommendations and findings to decision-making bodies; confer with Planning Manager and/or other supervisors on issues regarding clients and production
  • Data entry in WMS
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum 1-year customer service experience
  • minimum of 2 years combination of training, education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform the duties listed above
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of database functionality
  • Analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; be an active listener; excellent oral and written communication
  • Organize work and set priorities to meet deadlines;
  • Adaptability and flexibility when changes arise
  • Maintain quality, accuracy, and quantity of work under pressure of deadline in changing priority
  • Maintain concentration with attention to detail
  • Maintain punctual attendance
  • Work independently and proceed with tasks with minimal supervision
  • Maintain professionalism in written and verbal communication
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and monitor frequently
  • Must be able to interact verbally with members of other departments on a frequent basis
  • Must be able to work overtime when requested
The expected salary range for this position is $50,937 - $63,671 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.All Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations.
