Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Senior Data ScientistWhat we doWithin WBD Streaming, the Customer Health and Value ML team uses causal machine learning to discover and understand the behavioral dynamics that drive long-term value among our streaming customers. We enable the business to make better, faster decisions that optimize for long-term customer value by boosting engagement in the right ways and finding the best strategies to grow our active subscriber base. We’re looking for a Sr. Data Scientist with a passion for driving business impact via causal modeling in the complex problem space of customer engagement and retention.What You Will Do
  • Research, design, and build high-impact end-to-end machine learning systems for customer growth
  • Lead the design of scalable ML solutions in production
  • Promote and role-model best practices of data science, engineering, and communication throughout the organization
  • Evangelize ML adoption and innovation across the product and engineering teams
  • Foster a diverse community of data scientists and ML engineers
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates in Product, Design, Content, and Marketing to understand their problems and design solutions
What You Will Need
  • M.S or B.S. in Statistics, Data Science, Economics or related field
  • 5+ years of building products with Machine Learning and Personalization
  • Strong proficiency with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, Scikit-learn etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying ML to Causal Inference (Double ML, Meta-learners, Synthetic Controls, etc.)
  • Production experience implementing machine learning pipelines and models at scale in Python, Java, Scala, or similar languages
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to data scientists, engineers, and product manager audiences
  • Passion for data-driven research, development, and experimentation
  • Self-motivated, growth-oriented, and driven to pursue solutions to challenging problems

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $119,700.00 - $222,300.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
