
Clinical Program Manager (RN) - EPIC Downtime

- Provides innovative leadership and supervision to initiatives/projects in support of community based services. Acts as liaison across interdisciplinary teams potentially within and beyond Carilion to achieve beneficial impact. Offer clinical consultation and manage “go-live” projects while consulting with front line clinical staff.
- Establishes and maintains continuous communications with all project stakeholders to ensure thorough needs assessment, evaluation and prioritization of efforts. Develops strategic relationships and partnerships in support of the initiative/project.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely communication with clients, team members and Carilion leadership throughout life of each initiative/project.
- Develops, implements and updates action plans and processes for community-based services, from inception to completion, including scope, definition, planning, tracking, and course correction, as well as evaluation of outcomes and effectiveness. Owns the life cycle of all assigned projects.
- Researches and prepares operating and capital budget for projects. Monitors expenses to stay within approved budgets. Course corrects projects as needed to ensure the financial and operating integrity of the service line.
- Identifies and resolves problems, exercises judgment, makes decisions, handles difficult situations, within scope of authority and established policy/procedure.
- Prioritizes projects and work assignments based on needs and goals of the organization. Collects, aggregates, and interprets data to support project work and proposed initiative.
- Directs, motivates and counsels team members as appropriate. Provides local direct leadership on an as needed basis.
- Assists with plans and coordination of special education for the service line and other stakeholders.
- Provides consultative support to operations leaders to improve efficiency and/or optimize regulatory compliance.
