- Oversee dealership operations, sales activities, and the execution of strategic plans to expand the customer base the territory.
- Provide leadership towards the achievement of profit objectives and sales targets while operating within budget.
- Coach, train, and develop teams and individuals in line with company mission, vision, and values.
- Oversee sales execution, application execution, and overall market development.
- Ensure communication amongst team members and commitment to superior customer service.
- Maintain, utilize, and manage company assets efficiently to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Supervise staff to obtain top-quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, commitment, teamwork, and pride.
- Plan, develop and implement a strategy for organizational development
- Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring a necessary aspect of organizational performance
- Monitor, measure, and report to the owner, Lisa O'Hern, the organizational development plans and achievements within the agreed formats and timescales
- Manage and develop direct reporting staff
- Manage and control departmental expenditure within the agreed budgets (review and approve all expense reports, purchases, rentals, order placements, etc.)
- Liaison with other functional/departmental managers to understand all necessary aspects of the organizational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of all development objectives, purposes, and achievements
- Provide support for other departments as needed.
- Review payroll bi-weekly with Production Manager.
- Monitor all compensation adjustments for crew personnel and sales team.
- Follow procedures when reporting employee injuries.
- Understand and use the company price list, estimating process, and proposal.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and termination decisions.
- Accountable for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Establish and maintain a positive work environment.
- Accountable for installation technique & company safety review.
- Ensure all proper licensing is acquired as needed.
- Provide keys and alarm codes to necessary employees.
- Provide support for the sales team and production team as needed.
- Pre-empt potential problems and provides effective solution.
- Professional, Enthusiastic and cooperative attitude.
- Works well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines; Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Three to ten years of previous experience in sales or leadership.
- A seasoned professional in the concrete industry is preferred. Direct experience in decorative concrete coatings (or equivalent combination of ideal education and concrete experience).
- Demonstrates aptitude for problem-solving, the ability to determine solutions for projects and crew concerns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and SalesForce-can be taught.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willing to work on weekends as needed.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive the entire team.
- Customer service skills, both oral and written; well organized and detail-oriented. * Fluent in Spanish a plus
