We hope to meet you soon!DAY-TO-DAYThis full-time position works 8-hour shifts, including holidays. There are also on-call hours, weekend availability, and overtime.As a Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper, you assign and supervise work activities to ensure clean laundry and presentable guest rooms, meeting rooms, lobby, and other common areas of the hotel. Hospitality-oriented, you ensure our guest's experiences are as comfortable as possible. With an eye for detail, you inspect the cleanliness of our guest rooms, storage areas, laundry areas, restrooms, and public areas. You report any needed improvements to the appropriate people.You perform cleaning tasks with your team. These may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning mirrors, making beds, cleaning coffee makers, and replacing linen as needed. You lead by example as you train new associates. You schedule and maintain the proper workforce to ensure the correct staffing levels. At times, you may assist in scheduling staff and assigning daily work tasks.You offer exceptional hospitality as you respond to hotel guest requests. You report guest complaints or requests to the appropriate department and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. Taking charge, you investigate complaints regarding housekeeping and laundry services. You take corrective action wherever you can.Responsible for all QA documentation for the cleaning and laundry departments, you turn in work orders, prepare orders for items needed, take monthly inventory, and requisition the housekeeping and laundry supplies. You properly log and secure lost and found items. You maintain security for our guests and property by keeping room doors locked. Additionally, you are responsible for the proper administration of key control for keys that have been issued or left by guests in the room.   • One year or more of cleaning experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Flexibility to adjust work priorities as needed
  • Basic computer knowledge along with the ability to print reports and implement current room status
  • Willingness to practice safety standards at all times
  • Knowledge about the emergency equipment manual (utility and water shutoff equipment, fire alarm system, emergency procedures, etc)
