- Manage and oversee all aspects of sustainment and production engineering for the RRSVS program
- Lead and mentor a team of technical personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations on the modernization of Air Force Control and Report Command (CRC) systems, including current and future design considerations
- Technical Expertise:
- Engineer, schedule, procure materials, and maintain all technical data pertaining to the program's integration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant standards (TDPs, TOs, etc)
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing RRSVS systems and provide well-informed recommendations for future design advancements in the AN/TRC-213 and 214 systems
- Travel to key meetings, Program Integration Meetings (TIMs), Product Integration Working Groups (PIWGs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and manufacturer technical evaluations
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying complex systems architecture, technical concepts, and subsystems to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Required clearance: Top Secret
- Master's degree in computer science/IT discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated expertise in software development, systems engineering, radio communication systems, and remote control systems
- Proven experience working successfully with government entities and personnel
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging radio technology and algorithms
- Thorough understanding of networking infrastructure, Internet Protocol (IP), and encryption technologies
- Experience with cybersecurity methods and maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) for USAF CRC systems
- In-depth knowledge of USAF radio and crypto architecture for CRC systems operations
- Strong background in encrypted networking and RF communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite tools, including Excel
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in diverse settings
- Proven ability to address challenges proactively and resolve issues in a positive and professional manner
- Experience with government contracting and subcontracting processes
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
