- Provide community outreach support and community coordination duties for the Green Infrastructure Maintenance Program
- Facilitate public or interagency workshops, meeting with community groups and stakeholders and creating and disseminating outreach materials.
- Provide training and educational resources for community partners, coordinating workshops and creating presentations
- Provide support for and engage with a broad range of existing community partners and initiatives, developing existing partnerships.
- Proactively develop relationships with members of the public, communities, organizations and other entities interested in supporting the Green Infrastructure Program.
- Coordinate, host and support special events for the Green Infrastructure Maintenance division and provide day-of-event support as needed.
- Respond to a broad range of inquiries from public and private entities pertaining to the Green Infrastructure Maintenance Program and provide a highly visible, public facing presence to support and develop the communication of the division.COMMUNITY COORDINATOR - 56058Qualifications1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
