Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a local travel opportunity in the picturesque town of Taos, NM. - Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and developing treatment plans.
- Perform therapeutic interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and daily function.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient success.
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program.
- Current state PTA license in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience as a PTA preferred required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
