Job Description:Position SummaryOversees the efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Service Departments & Sleep Diagnostic Center. Responsible for all aspects related to the planning, management, direction, and performance of the Cardiopulmonary & Sleep Diagnostics Departments at WBMC. Regularly reviews and revises, as necessary, applicable standards P&P to ensure compliance with Organizational and Governmental standards. Coordinates the provision of all services with other disciplines and serves as a clinical & technical resource for Departments Personnel.QualificationsRequired Licensure/Certifications:
  • Florida licensure
  • BLS/ACLS
Education:
Minimum
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • If employee was credentialed by the NBRC on or after July 1, 2002, they must participate in the Credential Maintenance Program to maintain your NBRC credentials. Credentials awarded prior to July 1, 2002 are not subject to the Credential Maintenance Program
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Anatomy or related field
Preferred
  • Master's degree in Health Science, Business or related field
Other Qualifications:
  • Pediatric/Perinatal specialist

Associate in respiratory care or health science;
