- Develop curriculum for the Frank & Eileen Accelerator Program and serve as the lead instructor of the business accelerator.
- Manage the Program’s application and interview process and forge connections with local schools, business mentors, and community partners.
- Plan and execute Accelerator-related activities and events.
- Teach two (2) Engineering & Entrepreneurship courses to Middle School and Upper School students.
- Adhere to Marlborough’s academic policies, guidelines, and expectations.
- Monitor and report on student progress, utilizing Marlborough’s learning management system to take attendance, provide curriculum materials and maintain a digital gradebook.
- Represent Marlborough in Los Angeles’ broader entrepreneurial community.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, or with professional experience in these areas equivalent to a degree.
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to teach key business concepts and skills, including but not limited to: the business model canvas, value proposition design, the lean startup method, market and competitive analysis, and pitch building.
- Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience, and/or experience in an accelerator or incubator program as a student or teacher.
- Possess a high degree of interest in supporting the developmental needs of teenagers with the ability to combine high expectations with a high level of support.
- Excellent communication, organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
- This is a part-time (75%), benefits-eligible position, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
