- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in coordination with the project team.
- Coordinate resources, subcontractors, and equipment to meet project deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Regularly communicate project progress, updates, and any potential issues to clients.
- Address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Review and approve project-related expenses, invoices, and change orders.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.
- Oversee project quality control and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all project participants.
- Conduct regular inspections and take corrective actions to address any quality or safety issues.
- Identify potential risks and challenges early in the project and develop contingency plans.
- Proactively address issues that arise during the construction process, seeking effective solutions.
- Mitigate risks related to the project schedule, budget, and client expectations.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and status updates for clients and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and project correspondence.
- Record meeting minutes, action items, and decisions made during client meetings.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and field staff, to achieve project goals.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to promote their professional development.
- Ensure smooth project closeout, including final inspections and client sign-off.
- Facilitate the handover process to clients, ensuring a seamless transition and client satisfaction.
- Collect feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
- Client-facing personality and detail focus.
- Experience with various building systems, delivery methods, and construction contracts
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
- Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
