  • Serve as a point of contact for the CMDB and access to its content
  • Provide training and support to users and stakeholders of the CMDB
  • Primary support for reported CMDB support issues
  • Proactively works towards the maintenance of and quality improvement of the CMDB
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop sustainable and ad-hoc reporting to address frequency asked CMDB questions
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the CMDB data model, and the core functionality of the ServiceNow platform specifically related to the CMDB application
  • Identify opportunities for improvement the accessibility and usability of CMDB data and drive implementation
  • Develop and maintain end-user documentation for the CMDB and related systems
Knowledge and ExperienceRequired
  • 2+ years of CMDB experience
  • Advanced data analysis using excel, excel formulas or other data analysis tools
  • Data analysis and reporting skills on the ServiceNow platform
  • Able to develop work plans based on team goals
  • Ability to be self-directed in accomplishing team goals; proactively taking ownership of issues, communicating as appropriate
  • As needed, develop solutions independently or collaboratively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently on projects
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Strong grasp of data models
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, science or related field
  • Working experience on Tanium, Axonius or JAMf
  • ServiceNow Software Discovery Investigations
  • Python, Perl or scripting skills
  • AI-driven automation, prompt engineering and LLM integration
  • Ability to create diagrams, business processes, workflow and/or entity relationship diagrams
  • 1+ years of CMDB, CSDM and Hardware Asset Management experience
  • 1+ years of ServiceNow CSDM experience
  • Working experience with CMDB Health Dashboards and data certification processes
  • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics (PA)
  • Familiarity with cloud asset tracking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
