
Sustaining Engineering Manager

- Lead the development and launch of upgrade programs to enhance service offerings, product performance, and extend lifecycle.
- Manage refresh programs for aging platforms to ensure continued support and compliance.
- Oversee engineering-to-order (ETO) solutions for service, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical and electrical engineers in executing sustaining engineering initiatives.
- Oversee sustaining technical projects, ensuring alignment with product strategy and service needs.
- Develop and maintain project dashboards to track status, milestones, and roadblocks.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring resource alignment and timely execution.
- Manage tools and test equipment calibration to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Define and establish spare parts setup for new and existing products.
- Oversee part number creation and maintenance using PD Cloud.
- Identify and validate substitute and alternate parts to mitigate supply chain risks and support continuity.
- Responsible for the Change Management system, supporting both Change Originator and Change Analyst.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in sustaining or product engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering teams and technical projects
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, preferably PD Cloud
- Experience with ETO processes, service engineering, and field support
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting dashboards
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
