
Senior Material Handler

- Responsible for pulling all BOMs for assigned line and prepare for the following shift independently.
- BOMs must be pulled by the piece.
- Vinyl racks must have Job number attached by magnetic holders.
- Hardware carts must be labeled and staged in designated location.
- All BOM's assigned must be pulled in full prior to end of shift.
- Understand and learn how to operate warehouse scanners.
- All BOM items should be scanned successfully between stocks.
- Material exception forms must be completed and transacted before end of shift.
- Sign BOM board when material has been accurately pulled and staged.
- Provide a signed report with all BOM items pulled and located in the designated area for each line to Warehouse lead.
- Remove all excess materials from the line and return to their stock locations after jobs are complete.
- Employee will be responsible for managing completed jobs and returning all unused materials to the warehouse stock locations and dispose of scrap carts in the scrap cutting designated area.
- All materials extracted from production must be successfully transacted back into the designated stock.
- Maintain all racks clean from trash, shipping materials and packaging. All shipping products must be collected and throw away when cleaning off racks.
- Hand in a daily Material Exception Form sheet with ALL fields filled in.
- Keep fill items should ALL be recorded in the material exception form sheet.
- Additional BOM items provided to the line must be recorded.
- Walk the line twice a day and ensure all keep fill levels are restocked.
- Always have a form of communication with production via walkie talkie.
- Communicate any risk of stock out or low levels of inventory.
- Assist in restocking of material into stock locations.
- Assist in cycle count duties and in warehouse organization (gaylord, scrap, empty skids, organization, restocking).
- Must be capable of operating Forklifts.
- Must perform any other tasks assigned by Manager.
