This hybrid role combines field sales responsibilities with account management and service coordination. You will represent the company in promoting and selling Electronic Fire Safety Systems and Services (including moves, adds, and changes) to customers and end users across an assigned territory or account base.You will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction through seamless service delivery and support.How You Will Do ItSales Strategy & Execution
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize sales opportunities using proven techniques.
  • Develop tailored value propositions and financial justifications for each customer.
  • Prepare proposals, conduct presentations, and follow up to close sales.
  • Deliver sales against assigned quotas and maintain a healthy proposal backlog.
Customer Engagement & Account Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular contact.
  • Coordinate service delivery, installations, and customer training to ensure satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer issues related to billing, delivery, and financing.
Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with internal teams including engineering, service, support, and operations.
  • Interface with district operations to improve service delivery and customer experience.
Market Development
  • Conduct building surveys and market investigations to uncover new applications.
  • Participate in trade shows, product demonstrations, and promotional events.
  • Provide sales forecasting and progress reports to leadership.
Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and territory metrics.
What We Look ForRequired Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of successful sales experience in electronic systems, fire safety, or a related industry.
  • Highly self-motivated and success-driven with a high degree of self-discipline.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with persuasive sales techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience working with electrical contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with Oracle or job costing systems.
  • Ability to obtain licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • NICET certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.
  • Experience conducting seminars, demos, and trade show presentations.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $80,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin.
