Work Flexibility: OnsiteStryker is seeking to hire a Senior Engineer, Manufacturing/Operations to support the manufacturing of Neurovascular products in Salt Lake City, Utah.What you will do:Define & implement specific solutions to technical problems, completing the tasks associated with such projects and writing reports that clearly document the resultsValidation work including writing and executing validationsResolve in-house and supplier quality problems using established problem-solving methodologiesParticipate in the development and improvement of the manufacturing process for existing and new productsReview & approve inspection plans, routers and product drawingsFacilitate quality remediation, gap closure through partnership with cell Quality EngineersSupport initiating and closure of non-conformance and corrective and action preventative actionsSupport projects, bringing in capital equipment for new manufacturing lines and upgrades to existing linesWork cross functionally with teams for projects and initiatives including lean manufacturing, added capacity and new product launchesProvide technical support for quality control, process improvement, cost savings, process development projects, new product launches, equipment qualifications, and process validationsOperate within Stryker’s quality system to produce documentation such as, inspection plans, equipment maintenance logs and standard operating proceduresSupport continuous improvement efforts by performing time studies, value stream analysis, flow analysis and other lean related tasksMake proposals/recommendations in support of the team to help achieve team goals in quality, cost, delivery, safety, and moralePeriodically work with vendorsWhat you need:Bachelor’s degree in engineering requiredA minimum of 2+ years' experience in a production/manufacturing environment requiredLean Six Sigma certifications preferredPrevious manufacturing Co-Op experience- preferredExperience in regulated manufacturing environment- preferredTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
