- Leads efforts to research, design, and implement e-learning (CBT) training materials using various multi-media channels including.
- Helps guide a team of training materials specialists, technical writers and graphic designers efforts for needs analysis, design, and development activities of complex technical training.
- Writes, designs, edits, and maintains training materials.
- Communicates complex product information to non-technical audiences.
- Maximizes the effectiveness of training materials by staying up to date on training methodologies, learning tools, and practices.
- Remains current with best practices for technical instruction.
- Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
- Coordinates publication and dissemination of e-learning (CBT) materials.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain U.S. Dept. of Defense security clearance as needed.
- BS/BA in Adult Education, Instructional Design, English, writing, communications, or curriculum development.
- 10+ years of experience in instructional design or software training development.
- Strong understanding of the Instructional Design (ISD) process.
- Strong understanding of ADDIE and SAM.
- Strong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong experience with course authoring tools (Articulate 360, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, Adobe, etc.) and basic project coordination.
- Recognized as subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor professional.
- U.S. Dept. of Defense Secret, TS, or TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Previous experience as a Team Lead.
- Background in software development environments or defense-related technologies.
