OverviewWe're seeking a Machine Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to design custom automated machinery used in complex manufacturing environments. This role involves hands-on work with 3D modeling, motion systems, and component selection in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign custom automation systems, including material handling and assembly equipmentCreate 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorksSelect mechanical components, materials, pneumatics, and actuatorsCollaborate with controls engineers and project teamsSupport machine build and commissioningConduct risk analysis and ensure regulatory complianceQualificationsBachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field3–5 years’ mechanical design experience, preferably in automation or machineryStrong proficiency with SolidWorksKnowledge of GD&T, FMEA, and design for manufacturabilityFamiliarity with pneumatic/hydraulic systemsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred Experience
Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, and systems integration
