Support IT vendor relations: Oversee initiatives and projects through the evaluation, review, negotiations and ongoing drafting of product specific contracts and amendments between internal Caleres clients and vendors
Draft and negotiate contracts: Manage contract preparation for hardware, software and consulting working with supervisors, legal and business stakeholders
Ensure contract compliance: Translate technical and business requirements, terms, and conditions into contracts to ensure accuracy of appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and company procedures as well as considerations for the type of services supported by a solution using hosted, cloud or on-premises software or services and what is required for each type of purchase
Perform accurate and timely documentation: Effectively and clearly document pricing and terms to protect our company’s use and investment in technology
Collaborate effectively with external groups: Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to ensure high-quality technology solutions
Partner internally: Work with members of the IT governance and project management group for project intake and execution
Deliver continual process improvement: Develop and implement practical contract lifecycle and asset management plans

Qualifications that make you the perfect fit!
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems preferred
5+ years of Information Technology experience with administration of IT contracts, licensing and purchasing, vendor management, and contract drafting
Strong problem-solving skills, providing innovative solutions to address and reduce customer issues by contracting solid contractual terms
Demonstrated experience successfully managing vendor relationships for a large enterprise
Skilled at thinking quickly & creatively to solve contract terms
Exceptional communication skills, willing to ask questions and effectively translate contract terms, technical & business requirements to internal teams & vendor partners
