TikTok Live Architecture Service Team is building the world-leading live streaming platform that provides end to end solutions for TikTok. We are building the next generation live streaming platform including live streaming ingestion, processing and delivery, to provide the best live streaming experience for our billions of users around the world.We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. - Design, build and maintain a global scale, multi-regional live streaming platform.
- Design, implement and operate our critical and scalable services - ranging from video delivery services, live scheduling services, and core persistence layer.
- Build live streaming platforms, systems, and infrastructure with knowledge in network and distributed systems.
- Ensure service & system quality by building testing framework and creating automation tests.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews for the live streaming infrastructure team.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
-Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- Familiar with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, Memcache/Redis.
