- Ensure that products meet customer requirements.
- Investigate customer complaints and take corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure that products conform to applicable standards.
- Develop and implement process control systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production and design departments.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback.
- Manage and coordinate quality assurance activities.
- Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring suppliers meet quality standards. This includes conducting supplier audits and assessing supplier quality systems.
- Develop and maintain metrics to monitor the performance of products and processes.
- Identify and analyze trends in customer satisfaction, quality, and performance.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Primarily working indoors, office environment
- May sit for several hours at a time
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens
- Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality specifications, procedures, and standards for products and processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and implement quality improvement plans, including corrective and preventive actions, to address quality issues and to prevent their recurrence.
- Participate in design reviews, product development, and manufacturing processes to ensure that quality requirements are incorporated from the early stages of product development.
- Plan and execute internal and external quality audits, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Provide training and support to team members on quality tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed and maintain compliance with company, local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
