OverviewBlue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Mammogram & X-Ray Technologist to be part of our Blur Ridge Health Team.This position is responsible for completing screening mammograms and X-Rays for various diagnostic purposes. What You'll Do:
Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Includes escorting patients and explaining procedures, screen for pregnancy, preparing patients for procedures, and Conduct mammography exam.
Operates radiologic equipment. Performs x-ray examination, select exposure factors, practice proper radiation protections techniques, shielding, check images, maintain x-ray equipment, report malfunctions, perform general cleaning, and perform quality control and quality assurance checks
Administrative duets to include but not limited to completing forms, maintain medical record information, maintain supplies, complete needs with ordering and any software, patient outreach and assist clinical site staff.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Radiologic and Mammography Technologist experience preferred.
AART Registered Technologist in Mammography required.
CPR Certified
