- Repairs and maintains complex electronic equipment.
- Diagnose and maintain hardware and software.
- Performs preventive maintenance, emergency repair and troubleshooting, modifications, utility locates, operation, software maintenance, and oversees initial operations.
- Inspect, diagnose and document, and repair roadside devices.
- Assist the Lead Site Manager in maintaining and upgrading the current WYDOT network hardware.
- Maintains the State of Wyoming's public safety communication system, WyoLink, as well as other public messaging systems.
Preference will be given to those with a Bachelor's Degree or 3-4 years of experience in Technical Operations.**A driver's license is required.KNOWLEDGE:
- Basic hand tool use and knowledge.
- Ability to read and use a digital multimeter.
- Ability to perform the job safely.
- Proper training in basic first aid and CPR.
- May work in extreme weather and involve heavy lifting.
- Works at heights of 200 feet and under.
