- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize hotel revenue across all market segments including corporate, leisure, group, and transient.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue key accounts through direct sales efforts, cold calling, networking, and client entertainment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and industry developments to adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, campaigns, and digital strategies that align with sales goals.
- Work closely with the revenue management and front office teams to optimize rate strategies and inventory management.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and top-producing clients.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Manage the department budget and control expenses to align with forecasted goals.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hotel sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency with hotel sales systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Experience in full-service, independent, or luxury hotel environments.
- Familiarity with local and regional markets.
- Knowledge of revenue management practices and principles.
