The Director of Finance manages all aspects of the Finance Department including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and compliance. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial health and sustainability of BRIDGE. The Director of Finance manages financial relationships with vendors, financial institutions and client finance teams. Reporting to the CEO, this role will work closely with the Executive Leadership team and Board of Directors to ensure the financial integrity of BRIDGE.The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem -solving and a commitment to the mission of our organization. They will have a strong background in financial management and reporting, preferably in a complex non-profit environment. A hands-on attention to detail is critical. It is important that the successful candidate have excellent analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders and strong interpersonal skills. They will also be responsible for maintaining current knowledge of relevant developments, trends, and regulations, including IRS requirements.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting materials and metrics for Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting.
  • Maintain effective internal controls to assure reliability of financial statements.
  • Present budget reports, financial and analytical reports at monthly and quarterly Board Finance committee meetings.
  • Manage the preparation of financial projections and financial forecasts
  • Prepare, track and analyze financial projects.
Budget
  • Manage the annual budget and planning process in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Administer and review all financial plans and budgets, monitor progress and changes
  • Keep Senior Leadership abreast of the organization’s financial status.
Nonprofit Operations
  • Ensure all policies and procedures comply with all applicable laws governing business operations.
  • Ensure all administration and filings to keep BRIDGE in good, non-profit standing with the government are up to date and completed timely.
  • Manage all organizational vendor contracts and invoicing
  • Maintain good working relationships with vendors, financial institutions, client finance teams.
Annual Audit Management
  • Assembles information for annual audit and acts as liaison between BRIDGE and external audit firm.
*Works with auditors to answer questions, provide additional data, and conclude audit process timely and effectivelyLeadership
  • Oversee a team of one with potential future growth.
  • Thinks strategically about the business goals of BRIDGE and provides guidance to accomplish these goals.
  • Demonstrate support for and commitment to the mission of BRIDGE Healthcare Partners and its affiliates.
