It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible - all while staying connected to the people around us.DescriptionApple is looking for a savvy individual to drive third party VoD content and technology for video. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams as much as external partners, to define and deliver VoD experiences that ultimately unlock the full potential of spatial computing across the entertainment industry. You'll play a critical role in both creative and technical discussions with external partners, taking an expert consultative approach to engagements. Your ability to understand nuances of immersive technologies, media production and commerciality will be essential to success in this role.Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS, Computer Science / Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in the media space, with a deep understanding of immersive media technologies, workflows, and the current industry landscape.
  • Immediate fluency in image acquisition, spatial audio, post production and VFX workflows.
  • Experience leading at the intersection of commerciality, education, and media production.
  • Broad industry overview of the VoD and entertainment business.
  • US and international travel may be required (up to 20%).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong technical proficiency with a passion for immersive technology ecosystems.
  • Producer-first mentality with empathy for creators and an ability to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Proven experience leading both creative and technical aspects for demanding media deliverables on a project basis.
  • Technical depth of stereoscopic capture devices, spatial audio, post-production tools, and the latest end-to-end workflows available today.
  • Familiarity with engineering workflows, with a track record of bridging creative needs and technical implementation across teams.
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to effectively prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule.
  • Effective management of relationships with various stakeholders, including customers, external partners, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and success.
  • Excellent communication with the ability to strategically present to internal and external partners
Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 and $302,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
