Shift Hours: Full-Time, Day ShiftAbout the RoleOur client, a top provider of specialized machinery and automation solutions, is in need of an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating, testing, and executing electrical systems while working closely with end users, suppliers, and production teams. This position demands exceptional problem-solving skills, expertise in PLC/PMC systems, and the capacity to independently handle intricate projects from inception to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, test, and execute electrical systems for automation and machinery initiativesProgram and troubleshoot PLC/PMC systems (preference for Fanuc)Use advanced electrical troubleshooting skills and diagnostic equipment, including volt/current meters for low voltage DC and various AC systemsApply knowledge of programming structure and debugging methods to address challengesCollaborate with end users to determine needs and ensure solutions meet operational requirementsUpdate and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and project filesIndependently manage projects, adhering to deadlines and quality benchmarksEffectively communicate with team members, suppliers, and end users through concise written and verbal exchangesQualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineExperience with PLC/PMC systems; preference for Fanuc experiencePreferential consideration for AutoCAD Electrical familiarity, but not mandatoryStrong electrical troubleshooting skills for systems up to 460 VAC, including low voltage DC and ACUnderstanding of programming structure and debugging practicesDemonstrated ability to interpret and implement user requirements effectivelyOutstanding written and verbal communication abilitiesCapability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
