
ARMED SECURITY OFFICER

- Provide protection for guests and team members
- Guard all transfers of moneys and tokens on the casino floor and transport hopper fills, chip fills and credits
- Interact with guests and team members in a professional manner and interact with local law enforcement agencies as required
- Patrol all areas of the casino and hotel
- Assist guests with room keys
- Respond to reports of guest and/or team member injury or illness
- Preserve the scene of criminal activity for investigators and outside agencies
- Complete all incident reports pertaining to outside patrol issues
- Escort armored car personnel around the property
- Escort trespassing individuals off property
- Secure the operations office during in-custody situations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum one year of law enforcement, military or EMT experience highly preferred
- Proven experience using sound judgment and making appropriate decisions during challenging situations and/or interacting with challenging patrons
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- Excellent guest service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and applications preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Able to attend and successfully complete all quarterly firearms training and annual security recertification training
- Compliance with all mandatory training courses and certifications on an annual basis (i.e. Sexual Harassment, New Leader Orientation, Active Shooter, AVADE, etc.)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

- Must be able to qualify under Golden Entertainment requirements with his/her weapon under PILB guidelines
- NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Class
- Ability to work for continuous time periods in extreme heat and cold
- Regularly walk, stand, stoop or sit at a desk or table
- Ability to jog or run as situations dictate
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
