- Facilitate pre-employment processes such as drug screenings and background check, PPE and IT equipment order requests.
- Lead new hire orientation and ensure timely completion of onboarding activities, fostering a seamless transition for new employees.
- Maintain employee records, processing documentation related to new hires and terminations, and handling HR inquiries.
- Assist in benefits administration tasks such as enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws and regulations, including tracking Registered Apprentice Program (RAP) hours and registrations.
- Assist Spanish-speaking employees with non-claims and incident-related matters related to workers' compensation
- Assist Employee Relations Partner with maintaining training records and ensure compliance with training requirements.
- Coordinate team building activities and events and manage the procurement and distribution of employee swag and recognition items.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with policies and procedures.
- This role will evolve over time.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred. No degree is also acceptable.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Demonstrates professional integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Comfortable communicating with employees at all levels and in group settings.
- Travel required approximately 20% to job sites, with potential variation due to weather and job locations.
