Industry: HealthcarePosition SummaryPalmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Stroke Program Manager to lead and coordinate our Stroke and Sepsis Programs. This role is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of both programs, focusing on optimizing patient care pathways from admission to post-discharge follow-up. The manager will collaborate closely with physicians, clinical leaders, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure best practices, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction.This position plays a key role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of program goals and outcomes while maintaining alignment with hospital standards, clinical regulations, and accreditation requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Stroke and Sepsis Programs, ensuring effective patient care coordination from admission through 90-day post-discharge follow-up.Partner with physicians, facility leadership, and care teams to improve clinical outcomes and enhance patient care pathways.Oversee business planning, marketing, and program development activities.Monitor and support daily operations, quality metrics, budgetary goals, and compliance standards.Mentor and coach team members to promote accountability, quality care, and collaborative teamwork.Collaborate with Clinical Leaders to optimize program-specific processes and streamline workflow.Act as a role model for the organizations mission, vision, and values, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired:Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care settingDemonstrated experience in Stroke and Sepsis Program coordination, including planning, implementation, and outcome evaluationBachelors Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare fieldCurrent California Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationPreferred:Masters Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related fieldAdvanced National Certification in stroke care, sepsis, or a relevant specialtyWhy Join UsCompetitive compensation packageMeaningful leadership opportunity in a growing programSupportive team environment with strong interdisciplinary collaborationOpportunity to make a measurable impact on patient outcomes and hospital performance
