Grow with Us.Position SummaryThe Ready Mix Plant Manager oversees daily operations of the Bradenton concrete plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production and delivery. This leadership role includes supervising staff, managing batching operations, maintaining equipment, and driving customer satisfaction. Supported by Assistant Plant Managers, the Plant Manager fosters a culture of teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & SupervisionPromote a safe and productive work environmentSupervise, train, and coach plant personnel and driversManage daily workforce scheduling and performanceEnforce company policies and issue discipline as neededApprove payroll and monitor attendanceOperations & MaintenanceBatch concrete per mix design and job specsMaintain plant equipment and schedule repairsCoordinate raw material orders and inventory levelsEnsure plant cleanliness and operational readinessSafety & Environmental ComplianceConduct weekly safety meetings and inspectionsMaintain stormwater/spill prevention programsEnsure equipment maintenance and safety standardsAssist with accident and environmental investigationsQuality AssurancePerform and record daily product testingMaintain stockpiles and moisture probe calibrationCommunicate with Quality Control on mix variationsKeep accurate production and compliance recordsCustomer & Business ImpactCollaborate with Customer Service and Sales teamsResolve customer issues and investigate complaintsTrack and post daily KPIsRepresent the company professionallyQualifications1+ years of Ready Mix Concrete experience requiredStrong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferredDOT Certification preferred; CDL Class A or B may be requiredProficient in batching software, billing systems, and basic mathPhysically able to walk, climb, lift, and operate equipmentKnowledge of local area and company products/servicesLeadership experience and problem-solving skillsProfessional appearance and conductWhy Join Us?Competitive compensation and benefitsLeadership role with real impactSupportive team culture and trainingOpportunity to build lasting infrastructure in your communityApply today and help us build the future—one load at a time.What CRH Offers You
