Join us in building a better future for ourselves and our business as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst!The Strategic Sourcing Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing sourcing data analytics including historical spend, contract metrics, supplier KPI's and market research. The Sourcing Analyst will also support and collaborate with the sourcing team and cross functional stakeholders in preparing, managing and execution of RFx events.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze historical and forecasted spend data to contribute insights and identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Look for trends within category, assesses vendor capabilities, develop alternate sources, and evaluate vendor performance and develop sourcing strategies and tactics.
  • Perform market research to identify best-in-class vendors that could fulfill our material and service needs.
  • Prepare and manage Request for Quote/Proposal/Information (RFX) process to obtain vendor quotes and proposals to objectively vet leading candidates capable of offering a best-value solution.
  • Support cross function teams with the development and execution of RFx events in Coupa.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in supporting their sourcing needs and provide necessary guidance with regards to procurement processes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate internal reports on key performance indicators and sourcing performance metrics.
  • Manage internal contract and risk matrix tracking and retention program and identify gaps and areas of risk.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in operations/supply chain management/business, or equivalent relevant work-related experience required.
  • At least two years of experience in sourcing and procurement for direct/indirect categories, with a preference for experience in the convenience store, restaurant and/or distribution industries.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships across various functions, demonstrating the value-add of leveraging cross-functional expertise and support for adoption.
  • Mathematical/statistical abilities for cost optimization of the supplier portfolio while balancing trade-offs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Ability to use e-sourcing and contract management tools for effective implementation of sourcing process for categories within scope.
  • Proficient using PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access).
  • Any relevant certifications in the area of procurement and supply chain (CPIM / CSCP / CPSM / CIPS) are a plus.
