That's Perdue.SummaryThe SAP Logistics Functional-Technical Lead will maintain key relationships with respective business/customer base, vendors, and all areas of IT to provide exceptional service. This position will be primarily responsible for functional design of TMS (transportation management systems) and integrations with SAP/S4 Hana modules to ensure customer orders are optimized for delivery considering load building and transportation costs. Manages and coordinates all development activities for the application landscape including, but not limited to business area partnerships for strategic alignment of technologies/tools, requirements definition, vendor evaluation, process reengineering, design, development, documentation, release management, and production support. Will have responsibility for managing multiple projects over more than one business area. The ideal candidate must have high-energy and highly motivated self-starter who executes strategic planning and projects with urgency and a priority on continuous improvement; the ability to self-manage and effectively coach/manage teams and vendors to complete projects and tasks, on-time, with little supervision; and be flexible, adaptable, and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables and demonstrate experience working in matrixed environments with the ability to influence without authority. Oversee functional aspects of design, configuration, and implementation of integrations between SAP/S4 modules and transportation key areas. Modules include Sales and Distribution (SD), MM Logistics (MM), Finance/Control (FICO); transportation key areas include planning, costs, execution, carrier communications, and tracking shipments)
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into business requirement documents, solution design documents, and functional specifications
Provide functional and technical guidance and direction to other functional and technical solutions, enhancements, reporting requirements and testing procedures
Define, write test scripts, and execute test plans including metrics for success
Provide hands on engagement during troubleshooting and resolving issues with clear communications and regular updates driving post-mortem for issues
Support go-live and hyper-care activities
Monitor and trend issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of solutions
Track and support key metrics on system SLA including upgrade cutovers and disaster recovery drills
Identify and drive opportunities to optimize processes and leverage SAP and transportation functionalities for improved efficiency and cost savings
Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Provide the above for other applications within business areas as defined by manager
Build effective working relationships within IT and business areas, maintain key relationships to provide quality service and support
Maintain high productivity and quality work in a fast-paced environment
Assist leadership in recruiting, developing, and mentoring a diverse work team to provide the best skills needed to support business and IT initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement

Minimum Education

Experience Requirements
8+ years in an Information Technology systems analysis function, working with end-users to translate business requirements into system functional specifications and data mapping.
5+ years minimum process, configuration, and integration (PI, BTP) experience with SAP ECC, S4/HANA (MM, SD) and SAP TM or other Transportation Management Systems (TMS). (Example: Blue Yonder TMS, Oracle OTM)
Proven experience in leading and managing SAP and transportation management projects, including planning, execution, and go-live support
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including creation of Excel spreadsheets and MS Power Point presentations
Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; as well as communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Experience Preferred
Experience in SAP ECC Order to Cash (OTC), S/4HANA EWM (Enterprise Warehouse Management) or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ESP and Demand, and Yard Management Systems (YMS)
Two to three, full project lifecycle implementations of TMS systems with concentration in integrations between TMS and SAP
Experienced in Microsoft Project or similar tool to create work plans, resource schedules, and understanding critical milestones with an understanding of project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile)
HP Quality Center Management or other testing software
SharePoint, OneDrive
Understanding of Project Methodologies (Traditional/AGILE)
Experience in Organizational Change Management requirements including creation and delivery of training materials
Experience with business analytics from data retrieval to end use consumption
Continuous improvement poultry industry experience (including poultry technology courses)
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Rotating weekly on-call to cover off hours and weekends.
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment with frequent use of computer workstation.
Some minor overnight travel, including travel to other company sites and/or conferences to support strategic projects.
