- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
- Welcome every guest in order to improve guest satisfaction and to promote positive gust relations.
- Escort guests to their tables/booths in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Inspect dining area and set the table/booth when necessary.
- Practice and observe the safety rules and regulations in all dining areas.
- Responsible for all comps and reservation sheets.
- Run all the required reports for the server, the micro’s cashier report and the batch report from the credit card machine.
- Present check and collect settlement for all necessary items.
- Serve efficiently between 25-35 guests per half-hour.
- Complete all opening and closing side duties.
- Stock areas with all necessary items, during the shift at well as the end of the shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of all dining areas.
- Ring all financial transactions accurately.
- Follow all policies and procedures regarding alcohol.
- Responsible for abiding to all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Pick up and return bank and revenue to and from cage or cash room.
- Accurately verify all banks received and returned from cage or cash room.
- Take reservations when necessary.
- Be knowledgeable of events.
- Other departmental related duties and assignments as directed by management.
- Attend seminars when needed.
- Must have the ability to anticipate guest and employee needs.
- Must have good communication skills and maintain friendly personable attitude at all times.
- Must have valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and IGC Badge when working.
- Must be able to stand 50% of shift, walk 45% of shift, and sit 5% of shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must have the ability to withstand noisy and smoke-filled environments.
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be bilingual in English and preferably one Asian language (id. Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, etc.)
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
