We are looking for a digital designer who understands principles of great design, strategy, user experience on web and social and can work with our artists across all genres of music.Our digital designers have an artist roster that they are responsible for, from all things digital from banners, social skins, landing pages, email templates, web-store designs, full artist websites, apps, lenses, interactive games and experiences. We have a broad roster of music from black music, pop, rock, and dance, so you will have to excel in understanding different styles and apply designs to all creative assets.Along with the roster, you will work within our larger creative team of art directors, developers, animators, video producers while collaborating with our marketing teams, artists and managers.Here you’ll get to:Work on creative assets provided by our art directors and video producers, and apply them to all things digital.Collaborate with the creative team daily to ensure the best execution of ideas for the artist.Come up with design solutions for artists and across web platforms for websites, webstore and email.Work with the team on testing, creative reviews and proof of concepts for new creative ideas for websites or experiences.Keep creativity, strategy + innovation at the forefront of your design.Have a roster, but also work with the team and collaborate on projects.Participate in team meetings, weekly project updates, creative brainstorms, artist meetings and department meetings.Use our project management tools and asset management systems to keep all work collaborative and communicated daily.About you:You have a comprehensive portfolio with a wide range of examplesYou have fundamental and/or expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. You must also bring other skill(s) to the table (i.e., Illustrator, typographer, photographer, 3D, editor, animator, etc.You are someone who understands current design trends, tech trends and social platformsYou LOVE the internet, technology, social and musicYou are well-versed in Black Music and the communityYou have a deep understanding and passion for black music and culture, including knowledge of influential artists, trends, and historical significance within these genresYou have a solid understanding of UX and web best practices with an understanding of some HTML and CSSYou are a teammate and will share creative input and feedback with other designersYou can communicate your ideas verbally and/or in emailsYou can multitask, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and urgent tasksYou understand no job is too big or too smallYou are excellent at listening, interpreting, self-starting, and presentingWe’d love it if you also had:Other creative skill sets that can be used to create assets for our artists.
