Work Schedule: Typically 3, 13 hour shifts or 4, 11 hour shifts in Days, Nights, or SwingsCome join us as an EMT where your skills and compassion will shine providing high volume pre-hospital 911 emergency response for patients to regional hospitals as well as emergent and non-emergent inter-facility transportation.Shift Differentials:
- $2.00/hr Ambulance Service Differential, permanent, earned on all hours worked
- $5.00/hr Night Differential, earned on eligible night hours, stacks on base rate
- $3.00/hr Weekend Differential, earned on eligible weekend hours, stacks on base rat

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current New Mexico driver’s license is required (out-of-state candidates have 30 days from date of hire to obtain) without relevant restrictions
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian policy
- Must possess and maintain a State of New Mexico EMT-Basic certification
- Must maintain all required certifications (i.e. BLS, DOT certification)
- Must be up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses
- Ability to perform CPR and all skills associated with EMT-Basic licensure
- Monitors and cares for patients and collects information for documentation in the patient record
- Transports and monitors patients
- Performs in scope interventions such as oxygen administration, CPR, defibrillation, splinting, bleeding control and wound dressing
- Maintains positive communications and collaboration with other agencies, physicians, and staff regarding the history, current condition, and treatments rendered for those patients in his or her care
- Organizes care in a manner that contributes to the overall quality of the team
- Performs other functions as required
