DescriptionYour RoleThe Senior Accountant is responsible for complex activities associated with inventory valuation and other related inventory accounting. Responsibilities also include reviewing and analyzing general ledger activities relating to inventory movements, as well as identifying process gaps in the operational movement of inventory.   • Ensure that all month-end accounting is performed in a timely and accurate manner with a high level of attention to detail
  • Prepare journal entries and intercompany reconciliation schedules
  • Manage projections to specific inventory P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, and ensure appropriate accruals each month
  • Research and resolve distribution center inventory related issues
  • Partner with finance and non-finance partners to resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis
  • Follow up on all outstanding issues on a timely basis
  • Identify areas of opportunity/weakness and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency in a controlled environment
  • Maintain financial and operational controls and procedures

Maximum Salary: $98,280.00VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.QualificationsYour Impact
