- Helps residents and their invited guests arrange banquets, meetings, weddings, charity events, and other social events; obtains pertinent information needed for planning the function.
- Work with Marketing Director to create and finalize Social Calendar by November for the following year.
- Provides guests tours and offers suggestions in efforts to sell the merits of the community's facilities.
- On special events and unique banquets communicates with the Executive Chef and/or Department leader to determine selling prices for banquets, catered events and community functions.
- Assist residents in planning menus with the assistance of the Catering team and/or Executive Chef.
- Communicates with the respective department head and managers in coordinating, planning, and creating set up, decorations, rentals and layout for all special community events.
- Maintains accurate room bookings for all events. Makes necessary changes immediately. This includes making changes to BEO's in computer and "end of the day" sheet. Distribute by email and hard copy in mailboxes.
- Input all information pertaining to the community event into the BEO, i.e. (flowers, decoration, linen, a/v equipment, special rentals, valet, room set-up, entertainment, and any special requests).
- Price all BEO's in accordance with the menu pricing sheet, including costs (charges for rentals, flowers, valet, a/v equipment).
- Work closely with Marketing Director to promote community functions to promote new resident sales.
