Job Description:We are seeking a Cash Controller for a contract role in NYC that is responsible for analyzing cash breaks between ledgers and bank statements for various entities with focus on swap dealer entity. Knowledge of various Fixed Income products from bonds to derivatives. Operational and Finance background would be ideal.Essential Job Duties:Daily review of GL cash balances vs Bank StatementGenerate Summary of breaks across currenciesInvestigate break with operations/IT/FinanceAttend daily calls to find root cause of breaksMonth end review of cash balances vs statementsBalance sheet substantiationQualifications:· Product Control/Operation experience with Fixed Income Products.· Knowledge of cash processes.· 7-10+ years of product control experience· High attention to detail· Fast learner and team player· Strong analytic and problem-solving skills· Highly proficient in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to clearly articulate ideas· Accounting or Finance degree required· Strong data management skillsPay rate is $90-95/hr plus benefits.
