Are you ready to join this team and make an impact?"Disney’s Senior Workforce Analyst applies technical, statistical, and analytical skills to develop efficient tools and provide analysis that informs business decisions for Labor Management. The analysis will be done for multiple purposes including operational projects, strategic projects, ad hoc requests, identification of root causes, and process redesigns. Assignments are project-based and will change and evolve. Business partners include Global Human Resource Operations (GHRO), HR Information Systems, Labor Systems, Labor Strategy & Analytics, Operations Training, and Casting to identify process improvements and develop creative solutions to meet calculated labor needs.A Senior Workforce Analyst must possess attention to detail, passion, and curiosity to understand the “why” behind the performance, and the ability to create and support a story based on quantitative findings.The selected candidate will report to the Manager, Workforce Transformation & Optimization. In addition, this role will have direct reports.This is a Temporary Assignment/Project Hire with no guarantee of permanent placement.You Will:Work with partners to analyze data to identify data issues and develop solutionsProvide quick and reasonable approaches and effort estimates during project planningConduct accurate analyses to calculate impacts for assigned projectsProject manage projects and workstreams of large projects, including effective communication and escalationContribute to design, build test plans, and conduct testing for new analytical tools developed by team membersProvide leadership to Forecasters in day-to-day analysis and support work including analysis validation, issue resolution, client support, operational monitoring, and documentation standardsConsistently provide mentoring and ongoing coaching and development to ForecastersDrive complex work with many unknowns, new content, and multiple stakeholdersYou Have:Validated creativity to approach problems in new, innovative waysUnderstanding of mathematical and statistical analysis methods and real-world applicationExperience analyzing and joining large data sets using multiple data sourcesHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation and analysis toolsAbility to translate analytical results into clear, story-based presentations to share with non-technical and technical audiences at all levelsAttention to detail experience demonstrating validated analytical and technical skillDemonstrated the ability to meet multiple deadlines and able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks or projects at onceAbility to handle confidential informationRequired Qualifications:Expertise in Excel performing comparative analysis utilizing tools and formulasExperience with analysis of large data setsExperience in Tableau3+ years of salaried leadership experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience in SQL, MicroStrategyExperience in Microsoft Power SuiteRequired education:Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or relevant work experiencePreferred Education:Master’s degree in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or relevant work experienceBenefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
