- Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of fabricators/welders, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high performance.
- Process Compliance: Ensure that all plumbing and pipe fabrication work is conducted in compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the fabrication of plumbing and piping systems meets industry standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster clear and effective communication among team members, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Training and Development: Provide training to fabricators/welders on proper techniques, safety protocols, and the use of specialized tools and equipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Champion a safety culture by enforcing safety guidelines and best practices.

- Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in welding, plumbing, or related trades. Additional certifications in welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, or stick welding).
- Experience: Several years of hands-on experience as a plumber and welder. Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a fabrication or construction environment. Familiarity with various welding techniques, equipment, and tools. Experience with plumbing fabrication processes and systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and standards. Welding skills and the ability to perform high-quality welds. Understanding of fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, and joining materials.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Safety Awareness: Ability to enforce and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Computer Skills: Computer skills for record-keeping, project management software, and communication. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Fitness: Physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve lifting, carrying, and working in various positions and environments.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
