The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.The Manager of Processes and Projects within CGLA oversees the evaluation and assessment of all Kian submissions including subsequent approvals, coordination of ICC requirements for YNCA and the facilitation and management of YNCA's Management Systems Documentation site. They will be the process owner of all Kians which may include managing multiple Kians simultaneously. This role will take inventory of the phases each Kian is in, and what needs to be completed in order to achieve approval. They will partner with each function within YNCA to facilitate the proper process. They will maintain the documentation of core business systems and processes and keep them updated when changes and innovation occur. Their job is to understand and describe in writing the best way to accomplish Kian requests. The Manager, Process and Projects will have strong financial and business acumen, project management, and process improvement skills.What you will be doing:
Manages the full project life-cycle of the Kian process
Collaborates with direct report, leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure all components of each Kian are precise and complete
Provides project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives for each Kian
Analyzes current practices and develops business process improvements within the department
Investigates shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes
Implements changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance
Oversees MSD SharePoint site and owns implementation and updates of necessary documentation
Understands the latest management methodologies and embodies top leadership principles and styles
Actively leads projects as a manager and provides individual contributions after key projects have been identified
Demonstrates thought leadership through participation or leadership of stakeholder/advisory groups and presentations
Manages, trains, mentors, and guides team members in current and new processes
Translates strategies into program/project plans including scope management, stakeholder engagement, and deliverables
Displays a sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures
Uses a variety of skills, including project design, leadership, and management to ensure performance and process development
Has strong understanding of Japanese working culture
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Expertise in communication, leadership, and teamwork
What you will bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Business, Finance or related field
PMP certification preferred
5-7+ years related experience, including managing a team
Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish or Japanese
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, SAP
Process oriented, ability to meet deadlines, excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, ability to think critically
