- Develop and lead an International Flight Operations aircrew team which fosters a culture of safety, customer service and fiscal responsibility unique and specific to:
- Demonstration and Marketing
- Delivery, customer operational support
- Corporate Transportation.
- Collaborate with peers to ensure we operate in a safe and legal fashion that effectively meets our business objectives
- Develop and foster crew roles and responsibilities and ensure that all team members are effectively challenged and employed in these roles
- Set measurable business objectives and standards for aircrew and drive high performance and accountability while maintaining a cohesive team (including internal and external customers)
- Resolve competing customer demand conflicts regarding crewing through strong leadership and collaboration
- Possess and leverage change management expertise to build a unified and innovative culture.
- Act as a liaison with the regulatory authority (FAA) on all matters concerning flight operations and liaise with all external agencies which relate to aircraft operations.
- Develop/continuously improve and effectively apply a world class Flight Operations Manual
- Ensure that flight crew members are adequately trained, qualified and maintain proficiency to perform at a world class level.
- Assist with preparation and monitoring the Executive Flight Operations budget, monthly controlled and discussed between the team members.
- Ensure regulatory and industry standards compliance for all aircrew operations
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, practices, and processes that meet or exceed those of the Company, regulatory agencies, and Industry standards.
- Understand and respect the diversity and cultural aspects of all customers, employees, and vendors.
- Provide the framework and environment to change and enhance the current culture within the Flight Operations Team and set the example for peer departments
- Control operations and operational standards of all aircraft operated.
- Ensure that all crew members are kept informed of any changes to the regulations and operating standards;
- Ensure aircraft training programs at FSI and CAE are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.
- Coordinate the provision of the necessary means for adequate execution of the training program for the crewmembers.
- Ensure that flight crew qualifications are current.
- Ensure that air operations are conducted in accordance with national and international regulations, standards and company operating policy;
- Ensure the compliance with (ANAC) RBHA/RBAC 91 / 14 CFR Part 91 (FAA) for all flight operations performed by the company.
- Undergraduate Bachelors degree required in an aviation related field.
- Leadership training and experience required.
- Graduate / Masters degree desired in business or aviation related field.
- At least 10 years' experience in demonstration flight operations desired.
- At least 5 years of Chief Pilot experience required.
- Aircraft Sales Experience desired.
- Experience with planning / re-engineering organizational structures (Change management) required.
- At least 5 years experience in International business aviation operations desired.
- Part 91 Operational experience required.
- Some Flight Test Experience desired.
- Comprehension, understanding and execution of broad practices associated within the field assigned and related fields.
- Holds or has held an appropriate pilot license, or has acquired supervisory experience; and
- Demonstrates knowledge with respect to the operation of a flight department, the content of the Flight Operations Manual, and the provision of the regulations and the standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure safety.

- International flight experience
- Experience in Part 91 Business Aviation
- Accident prevention and investigation techniques and procedures
- Aviation law and regulations, including FAA FAR, ICAO rules, Chicago convention, and Brazilian aeronautical code
- RVSM rules, regulations and procedures
- International procedures
- Operation of flight simulators and training devices
- Utilization of safety equipment/ flight survival, flight instructor course, flight performance, operational flight regulations, CRM (cockpit resources management), line oriented flight training (LOFT)
- Language proficiency in English essential (Portuguese and Spanish useful)
- Solid computer and administrative skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access)
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations
- Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
- Good presentation to represent the company in demonstration and sales activities
- Willingness to travel frequently
