Inspects materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly. Verifies specified dimensions on product or material by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Understanding how to complete a polarity and continuity test.
  • Have the ability to learn operational test (functioning of a home).
  • Learning dielectric testing.
  • Installing and testing GFCI switches and ceiling fan switches.
  • Understanding how to perform electrical crossover completion.
  • Knowledge on panel boxes and breaker location.
  • Being able to trouble shoot electrical faults.
  • Understanding how to perform a final inspection of a home to make sure function and completion are to HUD code.
