- Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, parents, coummunity agencies, and students
- Provides a thorough assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, and language impairments and overall developmental early childhood assessments
- Conduct Community Screenings
- Provides information, support, and counseling to parents and families when appropriate
- Develop initial IEPs for students found eligible for Early Childhood Special Education services
- Participate in all mandatory training or training appropriate to the position as required by the district
- If needed, support the ECSE program by providing speech and language services to a small caseload of preschool students.
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ND Teaching License or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Speech-Language License through ND State Board of Examiners
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in conducting special education and speech and language evaluations to include ability to interpret standardized assessment scores
- Experience communicating the meaning of standarized assessment results to a wide range of individuals (to include teachers, parents, and outside agencies)
- Experience developing asssessment reports and IEP's
- Strong communication skills- both written and oral
- Willingness to work with interdisciplinary team and community partners
