Manage BAU (Business As Usual) Service Delivery for Mainframe DB in a Technical CapacityThis is for a pure Technical Hands-On role and not for a Team Lead PositionWork on MI (Major Incidents) / P1 (Priority-1) and lesser Tickets as a part of BAU SupportProvide Business hours support and then On-Call support as is the norm in BAU Service Delivery Role.Ensure Mainframe System Availability @ 99.99% and work towards meeting agreed SLAsDefine and provide guidance for database creation, configuration, upgrade, patches and refresh requirementsRecommend operating system and database performance monitoring, tuning and configuration changesExperience with database physical and logical design, query analysis and optimizationProvide technical assistance and subject matter expertise to applications groupsProvide database storage management and capacity management recommendationsDefine and manage database security and access permissions in consultation with customerEnsure completion of authorized Service Requests, Changes, Problem ticketsManage escalations and track Service Delivery and ensure SLA compliance including with vendorsReview and update the SOP documents on regular basisSupport on all in-flight and upcoming project activitiesRecommend and perform customer-approved database replication procedures
