A Postdoctoral Research Associate is needed for a research project led by a senior investigator examining basic mechanisms of how 5 1 integrin signaling regulates production of matrix degrading enzymes and pro-inflammatory mediators by articular chondrocytes and synovial fibroblasts. The research involves basic cell culture studies as well as studies in mouse models of osteoarthritis. The research will be conducted in a vibrant lab that takes a team approach to promote interaction with other postdoctoral research associates, students, and technicians as well as collaborating investigators.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsPhD or similar doctoral degree in the biomedical sciences
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceExperience in cell culture and basic cell and molecular biology techniques in the area of intracellular signaling.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceMust be able to perform wet-lab research.
Special Physical/Mental RequirementsMust be able to perform wet-lab research.
