People create the relationships that build trust, understanding, and excellence.General Function:Serve as the IT reference technician to provide assistance to company users of company technology. Coordinate basic user technical assistance and systems operations maintenance, including set-up passwords, network access, hardware and software management, etc. Assist in the organization and maintenance of back office, voice, network, and security systems to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. Work with users to obtain the highest level of service for all Bank electronic equipment.Essential Functions:Help Desk Administration * Provide computer and network support relating to software and hardware issues.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and project management.
  • Maintain trouble-log on tech support requests; address requests quickly and efficiently, staying abreast of the Bank’s priorities for service.
  • Maintain and report fiscal inventory relating to network equipment as directed.
  • Maintain and distribute computer supplies and telecommunications equipment as needed by staff (toner cartridges, cords, hardware, etc.). Assist in moving equipment when necessary.
  • Ensure efficient and economical utilization of equipment and resources. Provide for safekeeping of equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of the information systems network and report breaches or potential threats immediately.
  • Assist in network backup procedure and retrieval of information as necessary.
  • Generate and prepare reports as assigned. Review for content and accuracy.
  • Assist with audits and exams. Provide requested information and set up systems and facilities as required
Compliance * Diligently protect confidential information, and assist the Bank in ensuring that all confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately.
  • Maintain an active awareness and understanding of policies, procedures, designated authorities, regulations, and laws, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, etc. Follow these at all times.
  • Communicate openly with supervisors and other management about policies, procedures, work conduct, and job functions. Ask questions to clarify any uncertainty in issues.
  • Address and report suspected violations of policy, procedure, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, and other laws and guidelines, as outlined in the Code of Conduct. Reported information will be kept confidential.
  • Participate in training sessions and policy updates as necessary. Assist with coordination of scheduling as appropriate.

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, in person, in writing, and on the computer
  • Ability to hear, speak, and understand verbal communication
  • Ability to read, write, count, and perform basic math functions
  • Ability to move head, shoulders, neck, and arms freely (e.g. operation of office equipment)
  • Ability to use manual dexterity and fine manipulation for operating a keyboard, using equipment, filing, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, grasp, reach, and pull
  • Ability to think, remember, learn new information, and apply cognitive data to job functions
  • Ability to assess and concentrate on mental and physical job tasks to see them to completion
  • Ability to drive oneself independently for travel between locations
  • Ability to present information to groups in an understandable format or fashion
Qualification Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in computer related field or education involving hardware and software installation and support
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency in MS Windows, Word, Excel, e-mail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience in retail banking
  • Experience with help desk and/or network administration
